How much do job photo apps cost in 2026?
Job photo apps range from free to hundreds of dollars a month, and the listed price is rarely the price for your team. Here is how to work out the real figure.
List prices we checked
These figures come from each vendor's website on 2 November 2026, in US dollars, and may change.
- CompanyCam: Core from $63 a month, Crew from $129, Scale from $199, billed annually, with extra users at $29.
- Timemark: Plus $5, Business $7 per user a month, plus a limited free plan.
- SiteCam: Pro $29 per user a month, or $26 billed annually, plus a limited free plan.
- Raken: Basic $23, Performance $59 per user a month, billed annually.
- Fieldwire: free for up to 5 users and 3 projects, Pro $39 per user a month, billed annually.
- JobProof: free, with no card.
Work out your real cost
Multiply by your whole crew, not only the office. An app priced per user is only useful if everybody in the field has it, and that is the moment a cheap price stops being cheap.
A worked example: 10 people on a $29-per-user plan comes to $290 a month, or $3,480 a year. At that level, it is worth asking which features you really use.
Costs that are not on the price list
- Time spent training staff.
- Annual billing, which means paying up front.
- Add-ons for marketing, reports or integrations.
- The cost of moving away, if your photos are hard to export.
Questions
Is a free job photo app good enough?
For small teams, often yes. Look at the limits, such as photos, projects and users, and check how your data can be exported.
How does JobProof make money?
It doesn't yet. It is free today while it grows. Any paid plans would be aimed at larger teams, and you would be told in advance.
