Proof of work app for field crews
A message saying "done" is a claim. A proof of work app gives you the evidence: photos, a name and a time, attached to the job.
What JobProof records
- Who started the job, when, and where the phone was at that moment.
- Who took each photo.
- Who completed the job and when.
- How far the start was from the job's location pin, when a pin was set.
Why WhatsApp is not proof
Photos sent to a group chat get buried, compressed and separated from the job. When a client queries something three months later, you are scrolling through a thread. Keeping proof in the job means anyone in the office can find it in seconds.
Respectful of your crew
JobProof asks for a location once, when a job starts. It does not track anybody during the day, and a crew member can still start work if they refuse the location prompt. Trust works better than surveillance.
Questions
Can crew fake a job?
No system is perfect. Requiring an After photo and showing the start location makes it much harder to mark a job done without doing it.
Can I see this as a report?
Yes. The dashboard shows it live, and it exports to Excel as a CSV file.
